The series consist of papers of Robert and Elizabeth O'Hara Gregory from ca. 1833-1841. The papers contain mostly legal and financial documents including the will of Elizabeth O'Hara Gregory; an indenture between Robert, Elizabeth, and William Henry; and information about O'Hara family securities. The papers also include a letter addressed to Robert from Charles Langley, Archbishop of Canterbury, regarding William Henry's education.

Robert Gregory (1790-1847), oldest son of William and Anne Gregory of Galway, Ireland. He married Elizabeth O'Hara (1799-1875) and they had one son, William Henry Gregory (1817-1892). Robert built up the Gregory estate of Coole Park and died there while caring for tenants suffering from an outbreak of plague.
